At Maki Swim, we love teaching swimmers of all ages.
We teach FAMILIES to swim.
At Maki Swim, we are committed to providing a comfortable and effective learning environment for swimmers of all ages. Our year-round, enclosed & heated pool with a shallow water depth of 3 – 4 ft offers a climate-controlled enclosure that protects against weather and harmful UV rays.

Montessori Philosophy
At Maki Swim, we are dedicated to a whole-person Montessori style approach to swimming. We do not utilize leveled systems that provide a false sense of security in swimming ability. Instead, we progress the student through precept-based skills from water survival and safety to technique and mastery at a pace that meets the student where they are. We know how to take a beginner to the races, or the lake or wherever life may take you. We believe swimming is a life skill that everyone should have.
Collaborative Relationships
At Maki Swim, we are family-owned and family driven - (O'Hana). In all families, collaboration and communication are paramount. As evidenced by our hallmark custom scheduling process, our highly responsive office management team, and our belief that one size does NOT fit all, we foster a unique relationship with every member of the Maki Family. You and your family should feel as special to us as you are. No corporate hoops here.
Community & Outreach
As an award-winning "Bay Area Parent" and YELP user voted best swim school, we understand our responsibility to the families of our community. We are leaders in the Campbell Chamber of Commerce, often co-hosting events with them, and participate in philanthropic fundraising for charities and other schools and businesses in our beloved Bay Area.
